Sabzazar murdered still not identified

A decomposed 35-year-old man was found from a house located in Dubanpura Area in the Sabzazar Police precincts on Sunday.
The police said that a local Malik Awais owned flats located in Dubanpura. Police said Malik Awais has rented his quarter few months ago to Rawalpindi resident Ishtiaq.
Sabzazar Police Station House Officer Inspector Rizwan said locals reported a strong stench from Isthiaq’s flat. Police officials entered the flat and found the decomposed body of a 35-year-old man. The SHO said that the deceased man had been brutally tortured which made identifications difficult. He said police had removed the body to the morgue for autopsy and had started investigations.
He said that flat owner Malik Awais has provided them a national identity card of the man, he had contracted rental agreement with. He said that police were trying to verifying the NIC’s details but the body’s identity was still a mystery. Police arrests 771 in 3 days: Lahore police claimed to have arrested 771 criminals including proclaimed offenders, drug pushers and gamblers in three days in crack down launched against criminals in the city.
According to a handout issued on Sunday, police conducted raids on different areas and arrested 152 proclaimed offenders, 240 court absconders, 160 history-sheeters and some suspects. Meanwhile, police have also launched crack down against drug pushers and arrested 63 drug pushers. Police recovered 60 kg charas, 2 kg heroine and 985 bottles of liquor from their possession. 65 accused persons were also arrested on charges of possessing illegal weapons and 23 riffles, 48 pistols and 1400 bullets were recovered. Police have arrested 91 gamblers and recovered stake money worth Rs. 400,000, 60 mobile phones, gold ornaments.
CCPO: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Ahmad Raza Tahir has ordered Lahore Police to utilize all its energies to ensure foolproof law and order during the holy month of Ramadan. In an order on Sunday, CCPO Ahmad Raza Tahir demanded greater honesty from police officials He said that they should celebrate the days of the holy month by displaying good and polite behavior and by ensuring provision of justice to aggrieved persons.
CCPO Ahmad Raza Tahir informed that more than eight thousand police officials would perform their special Ramadan security duties at different points, whereas 160 mobile squads would also perform patrolling at all important places.
