National athlete Farhan Ahmad will represent the country in the 13th IAAF World Championship to be held from August 27 to Sept 4 at Daegu, Korea. Maj. Gen (R) M Akram Sahi, HI(M), SI(M), who is also President Athletics Federation of Pakistan, selected Farhan and an official for participation in the IAAF event.
Salman Iqbal will be the manager-cum-coach of Farhan, who will take part in 800 meters and 1500 meters races, informed M Khalid Mahmood, General Secretary AFP.
