Peshawar Division Commissioner Akbar Khan has directed Census District Officers (CDOs) to implement directives on the second phase of the Population Census 2011 and submit the compliance report in this regard.
During a high level meeting in this connection on Saturday, the CDOs informed that staff for the second phase of the Census had already been appointed, while control rooms had also been established. Moreover, they said that reactivation of coordinating committees/vigilance teams will be re-notified soon.
In addition, the CDOs told the meeting that PCO’s staff had been accommodated in their office, while distribution of honorarium had also been completed. Khyber Agency PA Mutahir Zeb, Mohmand Agency PA Amjad Ali Khan, Assistant Commissioner (P/D) Atta- ur- Rehman and Assistant Commissioner (Rev) Shama Niamat also attended the meeting.
