The monthly board meeting of the Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) was held at the board’s main office on Saturday. Station Commander/CBC President Brig Anis Ahmed presided over the meeting.
Military Land and Cantonments Karachi Region Director Khawaja Ifthikhar Ahmed Mir was also present on the occasion along with Executive Officer Muhammad Hayat Mahar, nominated member Aziz Suharwardi and Lt Col Abrar Hussain.
The board approved repair work of many roads and footpaths in DHA. Brig Ahmed also instructed that the problems of sewerage and streetlights should be overcome soon. He directed the authorities concerned to collect tax efficiently and take action against tax evaders. Khawaja Iftikhar Ahmed Mir directed the CBC officers to improve their performance and provide hassle-free services to residents.
