Sahiwal won the Inter Division U-15 Boys Badminton Championship title after beating Gujranwala by 2-0 in the final here at Iqbal Park Sports Complex.
Murtaza (Sahiwal) bt Raja Haider (Gujranwala) 21-16, 21-11 while Muqeed (Sahiwal) bt Waqas (Gujranwala) 21-6, 21-13. Earlier in the third place match, Lahore outplayed Multan by 3-0. Ahmed (Lahore) bt Adnan (Multan) 16-21, 21-19, 21-14, Muzammil (Lahore) bt Jalal Saeed (Multan) 14-21, 21-17 and 21-19 while in the doubles, Ahmed and Muzammil (Lahore) bt Bilal and Adnan (Multan) 21-15, 18-21 and 21-12. Sports Director General Jamshed Daudi was the chief guest who distributed the cash prizes among the teams.
