Huawei Technologies signed a contract with UET, Lahore on 29th July, 2011. Under this contract Huawei granted UET Lahore the Authorized Learning Partner status for Datacom Networking Training and Certification. Huawei under this contract is providing its latest networking equipment to UET Lahore worth $0.5 million. A graceful ceremony took place in UET Lahore where Federal Secretary Ministry of IT and Telecom Saeed Ahmed Khan, Huawei Chief Technology Officer, Huawei Advisor Collin Hu, UET Lahore Vice Chancellor Nasim Ahmed Usmani, Let. Gen Muhammad Akram Khan, Deans of Faculties & Professors from UET and other dignitaries were present.
