WAPDA and Higher Education Commission (HEC) reached the final of the 10th National Women’s Volleyball Championship after beating their respective rivals at Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad on Thursday. In semi-finals WAPDA stunned Punjab in straight sets by 25-10, 25-4 and 25-14 while HEC dropped one set before reuniting themselves to beat Islamabad by 3-1.The scoreline was 25-22, 24-26, 25-14, 25-12. The final of the event will be played today at 9:30am. Islamabad Volleyball Association chief patron Ch Muhammad Aslam will be the chief guest on this occasion.
