Target killings

It is very sad to see the increasing number of target killings in Karachi. The people who die in the target killings are common people; motor mechanics, labourers, masons, workers, pedestrians and political workers of different parties.

Instability of government, biased statements of political leaders and unemployment have caused much strain on these killings. Karachi is the financial capital and premiere centre of banking, industry and trade. These killings hit the financial capital’s working badly. This problem needs to be solved once and for all. The citizens of Karachi want nothing but peace back in the city.

I hope the authorities will take immediate action in controlling the killings and political parties would resolve their problems through dialogue. The citizens Of Karachi must also promote a culture of tolerance if we are to put a full stop on such activities.
