Currently, Pakistan is dealing with several challenges. The disastrous effects of 9/11 have wrecked the condition of security and peace in Pakistan. Taliban claim to fight for Islam but many innocent people have died without any reason. Mosques, markets, school, banks etc became the victims of terrorism. People do not feel secure anywhere.
The Swat Operation against cleaned this area of terrorists which gave new hope to the people of Swat to return to their homes and enjoy their lives. Though armed forces are still trying their best to provide a peaceful and secure environment to the populace there, many areas are yet to be cleaned of the terrorists. But military operations are not the only solution of this issue. Government should take it seriously and provide a proper security to the people. All parties should combine together to get rid of this problem because Pakistan is not the responsibility of only a specific party. It’s our country and we all should take a part in its protecting sovereignty and prosperity.
