Punjab, Sindh on top in Swimming C’ship

Punjab and Sindh went neck and neck on the opening day of the 17th National Age Group Swimming Championship started here at the Aitchison College pool. The All Pakistan McDonalds Inter-School Championship and 17th National Age group event started on Thursday. Punjab Swimming Association President Zoraiz Lashari was the chief guest of the opening ceremony. Hassan Kamran of Punjab set a new national mark in 100 meters back stroke when he clocked 1.13.01 on the opening day.
Two sessions of competitions in 24 events were held.
