Six millimeters of rain were recorded in the provincial metropolis on Thursday as the fourth monsoon spell continued. Scattered rain and thundershower with isolated heavy falls are expected in Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North East Balochistan including Quetta, Zhob, Sibi, Kalat and Naseerabad, Eastern Sindh including Sukkur and Mirpurkhas and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) today (Friday), the Met Office predicted.
Isolated rain is also expected in Gilgit-Baltistan during the period. Around 92 percent humidity was recorded in Lahore on Thursday morning which dropped to 73 percent in the evening. The Met Office said that flash flooding is expected in hilly areas and parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during rains.
