7 more killed in Karachi

The killing spree in Karachi continued on Thursday with the death of seven more people in various incidents of violence across the city. At least eight people, including a child, were also injured. Unidentified men opened fire on a private car, killing Muhammad Ameen and injuring another two people.
An unidentified rickshaw driver was killed by unidentified armed men near Mahfooz Baryani Wala in Orangi Town police precincts. In another incident, unidentified men opened fire on a bus, killing a passenger identified as Shabeer. Qaiser, Ghulam Murtaza, Furqan and Afzal were injured in the attack. Two motorcyclists opened fire on a police mobile near Bismallah Hotel area in Pak Colony police precincts.
As a result, SI Zaheer Tanoli and Dilawar received bullet injuries. Police also found an unidentified bullet-riddled body in Gattar Baghachi area of Porana Golimar. In Gabol Town, unidentified men opened fire on Asad Khan when he was having tea at a roadside hotel. Khan was killed on the spot.
Meanwhile, a six year old child drowned in a drain in Korangi No 6, while unidentified men set ablaze a vehicle of a private TV channel in Qasba colony.
