The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and Thai Federation of Commerce and Industry have agreed to promote trade relations including transfer of technology between both the countries.
A business delegation from Pakistan headed by FPCCI President Haji Ghulam Ali is in Thailand on a four day visit to take part in Asia Pacific Business Forum where representatives of both federations in a meeting have decided to promote trade relations between the two countries.
The FPPCI delegation visited Thailand Federation of Industry and Commerce and Board of Trade and had meetings with the Thai investors and traders. He said that Board of Investment (BOI) and the government of Pakistan is organizing an investment conference in November this year and invited Thai investors to participate in the conference. In business to business meeting the business community of Thailand showed greater interest for making investment in Pakistan, and agreed to exchange business delegations among both countries to further increase close coordination between FPCCI and Thai Federations.
