Karachi unrest claims 4 more lives

Another four people were killed and two others injured in various incidents of violence across the city on Tuesday. Tension gripped Orangi Town where two people were killed and a truck was set on fire by unidentified mob in Gulfamabad. Qasba Colony, Gulfamabad, Bukhari Colony, Katti Pahari and Aligarh, parts of Orangi Town, again echoed with gunfire. Shops and markets were hastily closed and little or no public transport plied the roads after intermittent incidents of firing. Per reports, a 20-year-old man was killed and two others injured in two separate incidents in Orangi Town police precincts. The deceased was identified as Darvesh, while one of the injured was named Shahid. Momenabad police claimed to have recovered the body of 22-year-old man from Faqir Colony, who was later identified as Malik Yaqoob.
