Afghan FC, PIA and KRL won their matches of the eighth Pakistan Premier Football League on Tuesday. Afghan FC beat Army 2-1 at Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium Quetta. Abdul Nasir in 15th minute and Himat Khan in 50th minute scored the goal from Afghan FC, while Akhtar Hussain hit the score reducing goal in 35th minute from Army.
In the second match, PIA thrashed former champions WAPDA by 4-1 at KPT Football Stadium Karachi. Sadaam Hussain came up with two goals in the 17th and dying stages of the match while Nasrullah scored in the 24th minute and Zeeshan Ali kicked the ball in the net during the injury time. Zeeshan Javaid was the only goal scorer from WAPDA who scored in the 10th minute of the match.
KRL had a slender goal win over KESC at Peoples Football Stadium Karachi. The only goal of the match came in the 51st minute through M Qasim. Today’s matches: PEL v Navy at Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium Quetta, Muslim FC v PAF at Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium Quetta and HBL v PMC FC at Peoples Football Stadium Karachi.
