Workers of the Pakistan People’s Party celebrated President Asif Ali Zardari’s 56th birthday on Tuesday.
Ceremonies were jointly organised by PPP Women Wing that included the members of PPP Fauzia Wahab, Senator Saeeda Iqbal, Nargis Faiz and others at Islamabad to pay tribute to the leadership qualities of Zardari.
Cakes were cut and sweets were distributed among the workers who said the PPP had come to power at a difficult time but it was trying its best to pull the country out of the present crises under the leadership of President Zardari.
Fauzia and Nargis opined that no one would be allowed to destabilise democracy at any cost and added that Zardari had put new life in PPP.
They further said the PPP believed in political reconciliation and expected the same in response.
