Liquor shops in Sindh would remain closed in Ramazan

Provincial Minster of Excise and Taxation Mukaish Kumar Chawla said that all the liquor shops in Sindh would remain closed in Ramazan.
This would be done under the Ramzan ordinance. The liquor shopkeepers found guilty for breaking up the orders would face dire consequences of cancellation of their license, and legal action would be taken against them. He expressed these views in his office while addressing the officers of his department in a meeting.
Secretary Excise and Taxation Manzoor Memon and Director General Shoaib Siddiqui were also attended the meeting.
The provincial minister further said that the related officers should also check the alcohol stock in all the shops of the province, so that none of the shopkeeper could sell alcohol in this holy month. The orders for ban on the sale of alcohol have been issued for the month of Ramazan on the directions of Provincial Minster.
