The University of Karachi’s International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) organised a workshop on scientific writing. According to a press release issued on Monday, the theme of the workshop was ‘How to Write Scientific Manuscripts for High Impact Journals’. It was organised in collaboration with the Virtual Education Project Pakistan. ICCBS Director Prof Dr Mohammad Iqbal Choudhary along with Dr Hina Siddiqui conducted the workshop.
Prof Dr Mohammad Iqbal Choudhary delivered a comprehensive lecture on how to write scientific manuscripts and gave the participants a first hand knowledge of the trade. Dr Hina Siddiqui delivered a tutorial on bibliographic managing software named EndNote (version X5) followed by extensive practical exercises on writing scientific research articles.
