Ex-nazim still dominates KWSB as far as website is concerned

The City District Government Karachi (CDGK) has been replaced by the commissionerate system and Haji Munawar Ali Abbasi now heads the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board as its acting chairman.
However, those visiting the official web-portal of the water utility – http://www.kwsb.gos.pk – would come across none of this information. Instead they would find the picture of former city nazim Mustafa Kamal, titled as the former KWSB chairman, with his message as follows [in its original form]: “”I see bright future for Karachi because all the problems would be solved, InshAllah. Instead of providing temporary solutions that lasts for short period of time, we are concentrating on permanent ones.  New development activities are commencing in the city and we are going to build up Karachi of future.”
The lethargic authorities concerned have not even bothered to update the website.
The Sindh government, on July 9, 2011, had promulgated the Sindh Local Government Ordinance (SLGO) 1979 to restore the commissionerate system in the province. Besides, the Sindh government had also suspended the Sindh Local Government Ordinance (SLGO) 2000 and Police Order 2002.
Soon after the promulgation of the ordinance, Local Government Minister Agha Siraj Durrani had assumed charge as the chairman of the utility.
Recently, Durrani had passed on the charge to KWSB Vice Chairman Haji Munawar Ali Abbasi as the acting chairman, but neither Durrani nor Abbasi’s message and picture can be found on the KWSB’s website.
