The government tries to save looters, said the Supreme Court of Pakistan after resuming hearing of Hajj corruption case on Monday.
According to a private television channel, a bench led by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry resumed hearing of the Hajj corruption case linked with former Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi and others.
Immediately after start of the case hearing, the Supreme Court expressed stern displeasure over absence of DG FIA and ordered that he should be presented before the court within five minutes.
The Chief Justice said in his remarks that the government tries to save the robbers, and whoever shows interest in exposing the corruption he is transferred or removed from the case.
