The fourth monsoon spell would continue for another two days, said the Met office on Sunday. Pleasant weather prevailed in the provincial metropolis as citizens rushed to recreational places to enjoy the holiday.
The Met office said as more monsoon currents of moderate to strong intensity reached the upper and southern parts of the country, more scattered rain and thundershower with isolated heavy falls are expected in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Northeast Balochistan and Kashmir today (Monday).
Weather would remain partly cloudy with isolated showers in Lahore on Monday and the maximum temperature would remain between 35 to 37 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in Lahore on Sunday was 35 degrees Celsius.
