Another face of US media

Once again an American newspaper, The New York Times, made efforts put the blame of the car bomb blast and killing of innocent people in Norway, who were enjoying their Summer Camp on an island whereas their Prime Minister escaped from the car bomb blast who was to visit the summer camp later, on the Muslims.

The New York Times has continuously been publishing baseless news in abundance against Pakistan and constantly been imposing various allegations on Pakistan and the Muslims. The newspaper blamed the Muslims for the incident that took place in Norway referring to the presence of Norwegian force in Afghanistan and publication of blasphemous sketches. The newspaper claimed that an organisation “Ansar-ul-Jihad” has conceded that it is involved in the car blast.

Thank God that the Norwegian government has confirmed the arrest of the terrorist who was found to be a Norwegian. Fortunately, The New York Times’ claim for the involvement of the Muslims turned out to be wrong.

Not just this incident but many of the same kind keep taking place and the American media exaggerates these incidents involving the Muslims. Nonetheless, our rulers and leaders lick Uncle Sam’s boots even though everything is obvious. How pity it is that the American media is blindly telling a lie. This incident has disclosed the secret of the so-called champion of human rights.

This is the time when we have to decide whether to save the sovereignty of Pakistan and integrity of the Muslims or to destroy ourselves and the Muslims being with US and its allies for a few dollars. The Pakistani government should take stern action on this issue and warn the US government and its media to improve their performance because trust is the first thing required to make good relationship.
