Anjum Aqeel sent to jail on 14-day judicial remand

Senior Civil Judge Islamabad has rejected the plea of PML-N MAN Anjum Aqeel seeking nullification of police foundation fraud case and other cases and has ordered to send him to jail on 14-day judicial remand.
FIA on completion of his four days remand, produced Anjum Aqeel Khan in the court of senior civil judge Islamabad.
Counsel for Anjum Aqeel Khan requested the court to dismiss the case on the plea that his client had reconciled with the plaintiff.
The court rejected the plea about quashing the case after hearing the arguments of counsel for prosecution Khurshid Ahmad Pannohan and defence counsel Raja Inam Amin besides ordering for sending Anjum Aqeel to jail on 14 days judicial remand.
A heavy contingent of police was present in the court boundary.
Talking to media men after hearing of the case Anjum Aqeel Khan said it had become crystal clear that he was not involved in the case nor he had any relevance with this case. Conspiracy had been hatched to implicate him in this case, he held.
