Road accidents have become a routine matter on the U-turns on the busiest road on the Peshawar road in Rawalpindi, and on Golra Mor Chowk. Accidents occur on Golra Mor Chowk due to the absence of traffic signals. There are no lights present on Peshawar road; dangerous U-turns are present on Qasim Abad, Koh-I- Noor mills and Chisti Abad.
Citizens are facing a lot of difficulties due to this. The residents have demanded from the cantonment board authorities to install traffic signals and traffic wardens on all such roads, so that the ratio of routine accidents should be controlled.
