Punjab is deliberately being deprived of electricity and gas to damage the provincial government’s performance, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said during a press conference held at the Chief Minister’s House on Sunday. He said the Punjab Government does not want an environment of confrontation with other provinces. Accusing the Federal Government of embezzlements worth billions of rupees in the NFC Award, he said the PPP-led government is using the shield of democracy to patronise corruption. He said the Federal Minister for Production and Industries Pervez Elahi is conspiring against the province as its people had rejected him in the general elections. Moreover, he said Imran Khan has no political future as he is toeing the line of agencies.
