Navy and PIA eased past their rivals while Afghan FC and PAF played a one-all draw in the eighth Pakistan Premier Football League on Saturday. In the first match of the day, Navy struck twice to take control of the match but later Police reduced the lead to 2-1 at Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium Quetta.
Naveed Ahmed and Asif Bux scored in the 34th and 37th minute of the match for Navy while Police’s Alamgir Khan struck the goal in the 53rd minute of the match. In the other match, PIA thrashed PMC FC by six goals to two at KPT Football Stadium Karachi.
Muhammad Ishtiaq opened the scoring in the second minute while Saeed Ahmed struck two goals in the third and 21st minute, Sadaam Hussain in the extra time of first half, Zeeshan Ahmed in 76th minute and Nazir Ahmed in 86th minute from PIA side while Muhammad Usman came up with a consolation goal in 41st minute and Haroon Yousaf in 64th minute on penalty kick from PMC FC.
In the last match, Afghan FC and PAF managed a draw game at Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium Quetta.
