Two civilians were killed on Friday when Syrian security forces and regime agents used violence to disperse anti-regime protesters in the cities of Aleppo and Homs, a rights activist said.
“One demonstrator was knifed to death outside the Amneh mosque in Aleppo, and another was shot dead by security forces in Homs,” said Rami Abdel Rahman, who heads the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. “Dozens of people were wounded and dozens more arrested” in Aleppo, he said.
