Illegal water connections are in full swing in Cantonment Board Chaklala while Department of Water Supply chooses to remain mum. The residents of Cannt Board Chaklala complained against increasing number of illegal water connections in the area. The residents said that the staff of Water Supply took bribe for providing illegal water connections to ‘favourite’ residents. A resident of the same locality, Amjad, complained that the illegal water connection holders had installed water motors, which caused water shortage in the area. The residents have demanded of high authorities to take strict and immediate action against the illegal water connection holders.
