Opposition parties in the Senate that supported PML-N’s Ishaq Dar for Senate opposition leader’s slot have decided to move the Supreme Court against the Senate chairman’s ruling to appoint JUI-F’s Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri as the opposition leader in the Upper House.
A source in the Senate opposition parties told Pakistan Today on Friday that opposition senators who supported Dar had unanimously decided to approach the apex court to rectify what they believed was a wrong precedent set by the chairman.
