Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Wednesday administered the Auditor General of Pakistan’s (AGP) oath to Aneece Marghoob. Marghoob is the additional auditor general and will now serve as the acting auditor general. The oath taking ceremony, held at the Supreme Court (SC), was attended by judges of the Supreme Court, Secretary Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan and officers of Auditor General of Pakistan. Supreme Court Registrar Dr Faqir Hussain conducted proceedings of the oath taking ceremony. Officers and staff of the Supreme Court were also present on the occasion.
