Fazl urges India to withdraw army from IHK, repeal draconian laws

Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Chairman Fazlur Rahman on Wednesday called upon India to withdraw its army and repeal draconian laws from Occupied Kashmir, so that Kashmiris can have a sigh of relief.
Talking to Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Yasin Malik, who is on a visit to Pakistan, he said Pakistan will continue political, diplomatic and moral support for Kashmiris, who are waging a just struggle for their right to self-determination.
Yasin Malik briefed the chairman on the latest situation in occupied Kashmir.
He said there is no let up in state terrorism, unleashed by Indian security forces in occupied Kashmir. The Kashmiris are being killed and thousands have been detained.
However, in spite of the repression, Kashmiris will continue their struggle for freedom, he said. Maulana said Kashmiris are fighting for their right to self-determination, which is fundamental.
He said hearts of Pakistanis throb from with the hearts of Kashmiris and we won’t leave the latter in the lurch. “We will continue moral, political and diplomatic support to them,” he maintained.
