Unholy compromise

ANP leader from Karachi Shahi Syed has disclosed on a TV channel that agreement was achieved during the passing of 18th amendment that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be made and Kalabagh dam would not be made. The signatories to the above unholy compromise included PML(N) which was hitherto not disclosed. Now that the cat has been let out of the bag, it is clear that the PML(N) did compromise on a project of vital need of Pakistan, including Punjab, wherein only one mega-dam could have been built but was shelved with the connivance of PML(N). Now how can the “Servants of Punjab” claim to defend the interests of the people of Punjab, in fact Pakistan?

The bargain was only made to sell out the national interests for removal of the ban on election for prime minister for the third time with complete disregard for Kalabagh dam. The PML(N) has to come clear on the statement of Shahi Syed of ANP as this is the worst type of sell out for vested interests. It has let down the ardent supporters of the party.
