The special powers of rangers have been extended for further three months in Karachi.
Sindh Government has issued an official notification for extension of rangers’ special powers for next three months in the metropolis.
Rangers are performing special task of maintaining law and order and provide security along with the police force in Karachi.
Owing to ongoing killings and violence in the metropolis, few months back Sindh Government rendered special powers to rangers in Karachi to control the situation.
Rangers were given similar powers like police for arresting and probing the culprits and suspects whenever and where ever needed.
