Minister for Water and Power Naveed Qamar has directed distribution companies (DISCOs) to recover at least Rs 30 billion during the current month to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during Sehr and Iftar in Ramadan, an official source said on Tuesday.
Addressing DISCOs heads at a meeting, he said recovery campaign during the current month should be expedited so that fuel supplies could be ensured during Ramadan. The minister directed DISCOs to complete recovery from defaulters within the next 60 days.
