CNG loadshedding

Pakistan’s economy has been facing a slump because of lack of planning of the available natural resources. The planned closure of supply of CNG for three days in Punjab is very problematic for the people. People, particularly from rural and remote areas, are facing serious problems travelling to urban areas. The second major drawback is that the transport fares are increasing due to the shortage of CNG which the poor people cannot afford to pay.

Some CNG stations continue to sell CNG during these three days and earn a lot of money by selling it a much higher rate. People have thus been made hostage and are suffering due to three-day CNG loadshedding.

It is necessary to find ways to import cheap CNG from other countries. Looking for alternate energy resources should be the top priority for our policymakers.
