Teenager killed in Orangi Town bus attack

A teenager was killed and another injured when some unidentified people on a motorcycle opened fire on a bus near Bakra Piri within the jurisdiction of the Orangi Town police station on Monday.  Orangi Town police said 18-year-old Naveed succumbed to his injuries and his body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a post-mortem. Javed was rushed to the Sindh Government Qatar Hospital for treatment.
Separately, a man was shot dead by a stray bullet near Korangi River. Korangi Industrial Area police said that Abdul Waheed, 30, was on his way home with his wife on a two-wheeler when a stray bullet hit him near Korangi River and he died on the spot. His body was handed over to heirs after an autopsy from the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. The police have registered an FIR against unidentified people.
