It seems that being in power and remaining there at any cost is a necessity for MQM as much as it is necessary for fish to remain in water. In any case, there is the concept of blood money in Islam and some sort of compensation for few of the survivors of those killed will be given, while the bigger purse will be for their leaders. This is politics of reconciliation where you reconcile on the blood of innocents, and those who rob the state of billions are facilitated and murderers get away, or are put in safe houses before being released due to unwillingness of witnesses to come forward.

The type of baggage MQM carries they can only survive in power, with a government that lacks morals and ethics. It is repulsive to even imagine a constitutional government that does politics on the blood of its innocent citizens. Reconciliation for this government is to let others plunder and kill, while you also do the same and prevent the law from taking its course. If this is politics, how would you define AL-CAPONE who ruled Chicago for years through intimidation and threats.
