A plea to President

Indeed, a man can be a father but he can’t be a mother. She is matchless due to her unconditional love and care for her children but few can understand the pains and pathos of a mother for her children.

However, I believe that the incumbent President of Pakistan is one of those rare persons of this land who can better understand the pains and pathos of those mothers who have lost their children or whose children have disappeared.

The greatest loss for any mother is to lose her children. Such is the case with these two ill-fated mothers who are crying and appealing for retrieval of their children. One has lost a tiny girl named Fazeela Sarki, from Thul, Jacobabad district and the other has lost Imran Jokhio, from Naushero Feroz. Both grief-torn mothers have knocked at every door but in vain.

Absolutely lamentable has been the attitude and aptitude of the past city government officials in their respective districts to cooperate and console these two.

They both are now appealing to the President of Pakistan to take notice of the callous attitude of the concerned officers and direct them to retrieve their children.
