12 postmen from Rawalpindi GPO get motorcycles

Federal Secretary for Postal Services (PS) Raja Muhammad Ikramul Haq has said that the Pakistan Post was evolving itself into a modernised agency in providing best possible services to the public. He was addressing the postmen at the motorcycle distribution ceremony at the General Post Office (GPO) Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
The federal secretary directed the officials of Pakistan Post to leave no stone unturned at any level in providing efficient services to the public. He emphasized the importance of customers and asked to redress their grievances especially of those related to Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP). “So far, Pakistan Post has distributed 1,750 motorcycles amongst its employees and much more will be done for the improvement of postal services,” he said. Pakistan Post Additional Director General Fazli Sattar Khan asked the Pakistan Post officials to work honestly for the benefit of the citizens. He asked them to take care of the government properties as their personal property. Pakistan Postal Services Managing Director Ijaz Durrani, Northern Punjab Postmaster General Dr Naseer Ahmad Khan and other officials of the Pakistan Post were also present. Later on, the federal secretary distributed motorcycles amongst the 12 postmen of the GPO Rawalpindi: Suhail Javed, Muhammad Saeed Khan, Tanvir Kiani, Suhail Ahmad Khan, Ramiz Suhail, Shehzad Razzaq, Bilal Razzaq, Ansar Iqbal, Faras Shaheen Akhtar, Zahir Ahmad, Muhammad Saeed and Intizar Hussain.
