Zaheeruddin condemns PML-N’s Shab-e-Baraat dance party

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Punjab Parliamentary Leader Chaudhry Zaheeruddin on Monday condemned the participation of some Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders in a dance party on Shab-e-Baraat.
Zaheeruddin said that it was unthinkable what these people did on a night meant solely for praying and seeking God’s mercy. He said that on the one hand, PML-N leaders presented themselves as custodians of morality and ethics while on the other hand, their colleagues’ night life told a different story. The PML-Q leader termed the arrest of the Punjab chief minister’s secretary from the dance party a proof of the double-faced and hypocritical character of the PML-N and its cronies.
Zaheeruddin said that choosing the important holy night for partying spoke volumes of immorality in the PML-N. He blamed the PML-N leadership for deliberately playing an ignorant role towards their colleagues’ sins. He condemned the attack of PML-N workers at an Islamabad police station and demanded recovery of billions of rupees looted by the Sharifs in the past. The PML-Q leader expressed grave concerns over the poor law and order situation in Punjab and blamed the Punjab government of depriving the people of security and livelihood.
