State Minister for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar said on Monday that relations with America had their ups and downs adding that American aid had been delayed not suspended.
While talking to journalists at the Parliament House, Hina said the relations with America had operational problems not strategic.
She further said that Pakistan had never been dependent on the dollar and added that American aid was not even one percent of the GDP.
She would take over as the Foreign Minister of Pakistan and the summary in this regard had already been sent by the prime minister to the president.
She would lead Pakistan’s delegation during the ministerial level talks between Pakistan and Indian in New Delhi later this month.
