Talks should continue

The response given by Indian foreign ministry spokesman Vishnu Prakash is of the right kind. The terrorists are killing innocent people of both countries and they thrive on mistrust. During the 2008 deadly Mumbai bombing in which more than 166 were killed and lot of injured, a sever distrust between the two countries was created. After almost two years of severed diplomatic relations, the talks of ministerial level are scheduled by the end of this month.

It seems that extremists groups who are always against the normalisation of relations are behind these bombing who want to derail the peace process in South Asia. If both democratic governments act maturely at this stage, find out the actual culprits and punish them accordingly, it would be a shocking defeat to the terrorists. The Indian foreign minister’s statement that it is too early to point a finger at a particular group is the way forward.

The terrorists have no religion; they are the murderer of mankind and want to keep the pot boiling. We can foil their attempts to remain committed to find out the third force which always becomes active when we are nearing to resolve our issues.

Rather than letting them take advantage of us, it is time we stand together and bring them down so that we may pave the way to success for ourselves. The need of the hour is to work together and take out this region from the flames of war. The peace process must win and should continue. It is the key to success and if we are committed, then a new era of peace and prosperity will usher in very soon in this region.
