Through your newspaper I wish to express my gratitude to Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan for lifting the ban on pillion riding in Karachi with effect from 15th July 2011. Finally we have someone who understands the problems of middle and lower middle class people of Sindh.
But I wish to tell our humble and soft spoken home minister not to address terrorists as ‘friends’. While talking to media in Karachi on 16th July 2011 around 3:15 pm, he told the media persons “Kuch ‘doston’ ko hum ne rungay haathon pakra hai aur hum unko adalat may pesh karengay” (we have arrested some ‘friends’ red-handed and they will soon be produced before court).
If our home minister continues to demonstrate so much love and affection towards criminals, he will lose his credibility very soon.
