The second round of the PCB-PEPSI Cricket Stars Programme for under-16 players will commence from today simultaneously in Punjab, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It will be the second edition of the programme which would be conducted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in collaboration with the Pepsi International. The trials for the second round talent hunt activities of the nationwide talent hunt programme will be held in the five districts of the three provinces. The two-day open trials at each of the districts will be held under the supervision of the regional head coaches and the National Cricket Academy (NCA) Talent Hunt Officers, which will be followed by the age verification process to be conducted by the NCA medical panel. Players born on or after September 1, 1995 will be eligible to appear for trials. Original Form B of NADRA would be required for age verification and no other document in this regard would be accepted. The players clearing the age verification process will be short-listed for the final trials to be held at a later date at the respective regional headquarters.
