Eight more dead in Karachi violence

At least eight more people, including a political activist, were shot dead by armed persons in various incidents of violence across Karachi on Sunday. A branch of a private bank and a water tanker were also set on fire. Wali Muhammad was gunned down by motorcyclists in Kehkashan Society. In Azeempura and Pathan Goth, the overall situation continued to be tense after the killing of Amir Shah.
Meanwhile, 35-year-old Rashida was killed by a stray bullet in Machhar Colony. Eighteen-year-old Rafiullah, was killed by motorcyclists in Orangi Sector 11½. The killing was a result of personal enmity. ANP’s Zaran Ghazali, 25, was shot dead on the MT Khan Road. However, police denied ANP’s claims and said the deceased had no political affiliation. Sajid Shan Gul, Zahid Ramzan and Jahanzaib Aurangzaib were killed in an ambush by unidentified armed men near Baldia Football Ground.
An ANP activist was gunned down by unidentified attackers in Block 10 of FB Area late on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as 28-year-old Javed Afzal.

Here lands Mr rehman Malik who waffles some words of wisdom and his energies are wasted on absolving MQM, Then comes President himself who, for strange resons, is usually out of the country, Here he lands in Karachi and sits in his citadel and used to see only one delegation and that was always thugs of MQM squeezing as much as possible out of hi, The peace returns. Mr President and the Interior minister leave, But how could thugs allow peace because they would be forgotten and therefore another spate of violence and the cycle repeats again.
