The Anti-Vehicle Lifting Staff (AVLS), Model Town division, on Monday claimed to have arrested four motorcycle-lifters of the Khayali Afghani Bike Lifter Gang, including its ringleader Khaliq Dad, and seized 12 motorcycles. A team of the AVLS Model Town collected particulars of the gang and arrested its four members, seizing 12 motorcycles, worth Rs 0.6 million. The arrested men, identified as Khaliq Dad alias Khayali (ringleader), Akhtar Muhammad, Ahmad Hassan alias Nazim Khan and Muhammad Zakaria, confessed to lifting the seized motorcycles from different areas of Lahore.
