Two women were killed by their husbands, while another woman was gunned down on Saturday.
A 25-year-old woman, identified as Kiran Shehzadi and resident of Zarar Shaheed Road, was clubbed to death by her husband. According to the victim’s father Miraj Din, her daughter got married to Javed eight years back.
Javed used to force her to work in stage dramas but she refused. On the day of incident when Kiran had again refused to work, her husband got infuriated and clubbed her to death. Another woman was also allegedly murdered by her husband in Kahna Police precincts. The victim, identified as Khalida Bibi, was found dead in her room. Police suspect that Khalida was hanged to death as marks were seen on her neck.
Another woman was gunned down over unknown reasons in Manawan late on Friday. The victim was identified as Rashida. She was going with her husband Farmish Ali when they reached Natta Pind where two bike riders approached them and shot Rashida, killing her on the spot.
