The hearing of the murder case of former Punjab governor Salman Taseer has been adjourned until July 23 owing to the leave of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) judge on Saturday.
A large number of activists of religious parties of Rawalpindi and Lahore staged a protest demonstration outside Adyala Jail and chanted slogans against the government and in favor of Malik Mumtaz Hussain Qadri. They religious parties held ‘Mehfil-e-Na’at’ and vowed to hold such events on the every date of hearing of Salman Taseer murder case.
