Prisoner breathes his last in Services Hospital

A 60-years-old prisoner detained in Camp Jail died on Sunday due to prolonged illness in the Services Hospital. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Shaukat resident of Boray Wala. The deceased had been detained for a long time in Camp Jail after courts had punished him in a murder case. The police said that the deceased was ill from a long time due to which jail officials shifted him to Services Hospital for medical aid but on Sunday owing to his prolonged illness, he died there.
The police after being informed reached the scene and removed the body of the deceased to morgue for autopsy and informed the heirs of deceased’s relatives. Body found: The body of an unidentified 50-years-woman was found from Lower Mall Police precincts on Sunday. The police said locals witnessing the body of a woman lying along the road side in Malik Park and informed police. Police officials after reaching the scene removed the body of the deceased to morgue for autopsy and started searching for her heirs. The police said that it appears that the deceased was a drug addict and died of an overdose.
