Médecins Sans Frontières raps CIA for fake vaccination drive

The France based Médecins Sans Frontières has slated the CIA for using a fake vaccination programme as a cover to spy on Osama bin Ladenon, saying it could threaten the life-saving immunisation work around the world. The organization, through a communiqué issued here on Saturday, condemned the use of medical aid as a ploy for military objectives.
“The Médecins Sans Frontières is an independent medical humanitarian organisation that provides assistance to people affected by armed conflicts, epidemics, man-made and natural disasters, and exclusion from health care in more than 65 countries,” the statement said.
The MSF has been working in Pakistan since 1986, providing free medical assistance to displaced communities and to Afghan refugees, to victims of conflict, and to people with limited access to health care. Besides Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, the MSF is also working in Balochistan and Sindh provinces.
